Getting ready for 2010!

Hey everybody, this has been an incredible positive time last year and everything seems to keep going well for bambú! We had a lot of applications for 2010 and they’re still dropping in – so if YOU are interested in participating, let us know.

As for now, we are planning the workshops for this summer. And as always we depend on your donations, so if you would like to support our work with the kids, feel free to join our circle of donators :)

Press Release:

Call for Applications – bP 2010

Right now we are getting ready to organise next year’s workshops and are still looking for people who would like to lead an art workshop in Quito, Ecuador next summer! We are looking for volunteers who would like to carry out an art workshop in the summer of 2010. We offer organisation of the whole project in cooperation with the street children project “Proyecto Salesiano: Chicos de la Calle”, as well as the opportunity to be implementing your own creative workshop with the children, and working within the unique environment of the Ecuadorian cloud forest. Workshops we carried out in the past included photography, video, painting, and sculpting workshops. Any creative ideas are welcome!

Our former workshop leaders all felt very enriched by the experience and they said they recommend it to anyone interested to be a part of this. So if anyone is interested in leading an art workshop with Ecuadorian street children, please contact us for further details!
